FABRIC is a sextet of highly accomplished, Sydney-based jazz musicians, half originating from South Africa and half from Australia. With an age gap of 30 years between the eldest and the youngest member, the group brings a wide spread of experience to their performance.

FABRIC is a great representation of the Australian jazz landscape with each member bringing their unique influences and instruments to create a warm and wonderful sound that is greater than the sum of its parts. FABRIC’s repertoire is original, and they have a great time collectively developing the compositions by individual members. The music will give you a sense of familiarity whilst taking you on a journey to new places.
