The unique and quintessentially Australian jazz ensemble Ten Part Invention do not perform frequently – in part due to the 10-strong band all featuring some of very best soloists, who are all busy with their own projects as well – but when they do, it is roof-lifting music that truly celebrates life. This is their first gig for the year, so be sure to catch it.

Two years ago, the group celebrated 30 years, performing a memorable live concert at Foundry 616. John Shand (Sydney Morning Herald) described them in a review as “A living organism rather than a museum of memories” and “A great band that thankfully won’t lie down.”
